This is the deal:

The USF Advertising Club is a club for advertising sequence students or USF students interested in advertising. The purpose of the club is to give students an opportunity to get involved in the advertising profession while socializing with other students interested in advertising.

The club's activities include:

• Meetings every Monday @ 5:00 pm in CIS 1016.
• Hosting guest speakers from all disciplines of the advertising profession and graduate schools with advanced degrees in advertising
• Creating advertising campaigns for non-profit organizations and on-campus organizations
• Kicking butt at advertising competitions, including the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC)
• Going on awesome trips to various advertising affiliated businesses
• And our favorite: conducting wicked social events and fund raisers

When you're done with all the networking opportunities we give you, you'll be able to put stuff like this on your resume:

• Addy Awards Show
• Professional Development - Leadership opportunities, education on the latest trends in technology, creativity and marketing
• Advertising Excellence - Annual Addy Awards Competition
• Membership in AAF - American Advertising Federation
